I was hiking recently, in the early morning and unfortunately strained my back. Fortunately for me, I was near my car when this happened. I drove home (In extreme pain I might add) and did some googling for a chiropractor.
After about 1 hour of this, I found a pretty good chiropractor that was open and could take me in ASAP. I had my appointment, and all I’ll say was that this guy really new his stuff. I feel a lot better after my appointment, but I’m still in some pain.
The doctor recommend I rest for 2 days, which shouldn’t be a problem since I haven’t taken any sick days for years. Staying at home is going to be pretty boring for me though, I’m an outdoor cat not an indoor cat. But I guess this is a good time to me to catch up with some tv shows. I haven’t watched Game of thrones for a while, but fortunately for me no one has spoiled it yet!
Also while I was getting my back fixed, I talked to the doctor about his website. Since I work in marketing I was interested in who had created his site (Dallas is not as big as it seems!). He told me about a company I’ve never heard of, called http://www.savedbysearch.com/. Apparently they specialize in Chiropractic SEO & marketing for chiropractors.
Seeing the company made me realize two things:
- Marketing is niching down a lot
- People are willing to hire you, even if they never met you (This company is in Canada)
And that I really need to start freelancing some more. Now I’m off to watch some Game of Thrones.
