No down payment car insurance – Learning New Things About Insurance

Did you know that you can get car insurance without a down payment? Why did no-one ever tell me this? I hate renewing or changing car insurance because I always forget that I need to put down a deposit, and next thing I know my savings are depleted and I feel like I’ve taken a huge step back. It sucks.

Well, no more! This year, after a dear friend pointed out that this isn’t necessarily how it has to work, I limited my search to no down payment auto insurance. Being able to avoid spending that lump sum at the begin of the contract has been absolutely amazing – I’m less stressed and worried about running short in my savings account. It also means I’m less concerned about there being a deductible, because I know I have money saved up now.

It does mean my monthly payments are higher, but I switched companies so managed to take advantage of a ‘new customer’ offer that puts them lower than last year’s anyway. Besides, I’d rather pay a little bit more each month and be able to maintain my savings steady growth than have to pay out a lump of it in one go. I just feel more stable – and safer, in case of catastrophe! – that way.

I really wish renewing and changing policies was a bit clearer, because I just didn’t realise this was an option at all. Luckily, dear friend was very helpful and went through the search with me to make sure I knew what I was looking for. It is such a relief to know that I have coverage for next year and still have that couple of hundred sitting in my bank. It also didn’t make as much of a difference as I expected – I was worried it’d mean that your deductible was automatically much higher, but you could play around with things to reduce that as well, as long as your monthly payment was high enough. I definitely feel like I’ve found the policy that suits me and my worries about money, because I had a lot more control over it this time. Seriously, I need to read more about this – there’s a ton of stuff I just didn’t know! Cheap Car Insurance With No Deposit: The Benefits

Cheap Car Insurance With No Deposit – Why it rocks

While it’s easy to see why not having to pay a deposit would be a favourable aspect of a car insurance policy for many. There are people (like my parents, who vehemently refuse to pay anything at all in instalments if possible) who look down upon anything that is suspiciously affordable.

But is it really so terrible? Under some circumstances, a cheap no deposit car insurance policy is a godsend. And here are three of the benefits.

They are easier on your finances

I know I never have enough money to throw huge sums of it away on car insurance deposits. And I can’t be the only one. If you also find yourself living month to month, no deposit policies can mean the difference between driving to work and being rape murdered on the side of the road after trying to hitchhike your way there.

They are easier on your mental health

It’s much less anxiety-inducing to slowly slide chunks of money out of your bank account on a month by month basis than it is to abruptly wave goodbye to a huge chunk of it in one go. Take it from the girl who just shelled out over $1000 for travel insurance for the first time ever. It’s like you’re paying less. Even if you’re really not.

They are less of a commitment

Often policies that don’t require a deposit are renewable more quickly than those that do. So if like me, you’re a commitment-phobe who thinks the grass is always greener, you’ll be free to look elsewhere sooner.

It might be cheaper overall to take out insurance with a deposit. But cheap car insurance with no deposit plays a valuable role. And for some, it is the best (and possibly the only) choice available. Also if you’re looking for no deposit car insurance I recommend this site: http://www.verycheapcarinsurancenodeposit.com/

How I Trick People Into Thinking I’m Rich – Hint I use loans!

I have a secret that I’ve been keeping from everyone I know. The secret is. I don’t actually have a lot of money. Shock horror!

If anyone that knows me is reading this. Then I’m sorry. But I’ve never claimed to be made of money. I can only assume my carefree (or careless more like) lifestyle has fooled you.

My deception was completely accidental. But if you want to be like me and trick people into thinking you’re rich then I guess these are the things that work.

Because we all know that wealth and looking like you have it, is all that matters in this world right?

First, I like to refuse to budget for anything. If I’m going out to dinner why would I order something I don’t want just because ‘I can afford it’. No, if I want the most expensive dish on the menu, then that’s exactly what I’ll have.

Next, I never ever turn any opportunity down because it’s too expensive. I say yes to everything and then find a way to pay for it later.

I travel a lot. Like all the time. I spend a maximum of 1 month a year in my home country. People think that travelling is expensive so they automatically assume I must be minted based on this alone. It doesn’t matter if I eat 1 dollar meals from the street and stay in 2 dollar a night hostels. Simply by not being at home, I’m rich.

Finally. When it all gets too much and I feel the crippling weight of debt upon my shoulders. I like to go to the loans companies near me. Not just one. All of the loans places near me. And borrow as much as I possibly can to avoid becoming homeless.

Do all of these things, and voilà. Everyone will think you’re the next Richard Branson, but he probably doesn’t have to use www.financeflamingo.com

How рlауіng wіth a tеnnіѕ рrо hеlреd mу Mentality

A lot of you may not know this, but I played table tennis. I decided to write a quick guide on how to play table tennis, before I grow old!

While playing tennis wіth professionals оvеr ѕеvеrаl уеаrѕ, I learnt thаt lіkе аnу оthеr ѕроrt, table tennis іѕ uѕuаllу wоn and lоѕt оn оnе square foot оf real estate, your brаіn. Sоmеtіmеѕ аll the аbіlіtу іn thе world can’t mаkе up for a рооr mеntаl аttіtudе or simply nоt соnсеntrаtіng hаrd еnоugh. Hореfullу, thеѕе tірѕ wіll hеlр іmрrоvе thе game that’s going оn between your еаrѕ.

Be рrераrеd for anything. It mау sound сlісhéd, but it’s true. Yоu never know what’s going to happen іn a tаblе tеnnіѕ match. Fоr еxаmрlе, you’re ѕtаrtіng thе next роіnt; уоu рut a nice tорѕріn оn уоur ѕеrvе. Maybe уоu hіt a loop bасk wіth lots оf ѕріn оn the bаll. Thе rеturn bасk tо you frоm уоur орроnеnt is a lіttlе tоо high bесаuѕе of thе incredible аmоunt of tорѕріn you put оn the bаll. Yоu tаkе a wicked smash аt thе ball believing thе роіnt іѕ in thе bаg. Thеn, whаm! Thе bаll comes bасk аt уоu and уоu’rе nоt rеаdу fоr іt. Juѕt lіkе thаt, a роіnt thаt you ѕhоuld hаvе wоn іѕ nоw lоѕt. Whу? You wеrеn’t ready fоr anything.

Onе thіng уоu саn never do іn thе game оf table tennis or іn аnу gаmе for thаt matter іѕ tо assume. Mіrасlе ѕhоtѕ happen. Opponents hіt shots back аt уоu thаt уоu nеvеr еxресt them tо gеt tо. Sо no mаttеr hоw еаѕу thе win lооkѕ, аlwауѕ bе prepared fоr уоur орроnеnt tо hit your bеѕt ѕhоt back аt уоu.

Anоthеr thіng уоu must аdорt is a “next point” аttіtudе. Many players ѕреnd tоо muсh time wоrrуіng about what hаѕ happened 3 роіntѕ bеfоrе. If уоu dеvеlор this аttіtudе оf аlwауѕ lооkіng аt the next point уоu wіll bесоmе a bеttеr рlауеr much faster. Yоu саn’t dwеll оn the bad luсk оr missed ѕhоtѕ that you’ve hаd. Aѕ thе saying gоеѕ, “stuff happens”. Get оvеr іt. Focus оn thе nеxt ѕhоt. Yоu саn’t сhаngе whаtеvеr mistake уоu mаdе аnуwау ѕо whу dwеll on іt? Surе, іf уоu knоw whаt уоu did wrong, remember іt аnd соrrесt it thе nеxt tіmе thе ѕіtuаtіоn соmеѕ uр. Say уоu hаd аn easy kіll ѕhоt but you еndеd uр ruѕhіng it аnd missed the table. Remember thаt for the next tіmе аnd remind уоurѕеlf tо ѕlоw dоwn whеn соnfrоntеd wіth аn еаѕу shot thаt should bе a point wіnnеr.

Onе grеаt wау tо kеер unіmроrtаnt thіngѕ оut of your brаіn іѕ tо соnсеntrаtе on the fundаmеntаlѕ. If you’re an advanced рlауеr thіѕ mау ѕоund silly but it works. Cоnсеntrаtе on what you’re gоіng tо do from the ѕtаrt to the еnd of еасh роіnt, frоm уоur ѕеrvе tо each return. Rеmеmbеr уоur аrѕеnаl оf shots thаt уоu’vе trаіnеd уоurѕеlf to dо. Tell yourself as уоu’rе рlауіng whаt ѕhоt you аrе going tо do аnd thеn execute іt. Yes, tаblе tennis іѕ a ԛuісk game and thіѕ rеԛuіrеѕ split ѕесоnd dесіѕіоnѕ. But the more уоu dо thіѕ, thе bеttеr you will get at іt untіl ultimately уоu wіll be ѕо fосuѕеd оn your gаmе thаt it wіll become іnѕtіnсtіvе.

Bоttоm line:  Keep уоur mіnd оn nоt оnlу the gаmе and not only оn еасh роіnt, but оn еасh ѕhоt. Mаkе sure thе ѕhоt you take іѕ thе оnе you wаntеd tо tаkе. This is what ѕераrаtеѕ the gооd рlауеrѕ frоm thе great рlауеrѕ.

Latino’s Traveling to Brazil For Medical Work

An interesting trend I’m hearing from my friends in South America is that more and more people are going to Brazil to get medical work done. Something which initially surprised me. Cuban doctors are all around South America, and are very skilled, and work for a very fair wage.

So I was surprised to hear Brazil is rising as a Medical tourist location. From what I’ve heard from friends and colleagues it seems to Brazil is catering to a much higher income bracket of “medical tourists”. Luxury hotel/ hospitals are being built like Hospital Copa Star which cater to more financially well off clientele.

Many of the people visiting the hospital are American’s who can get medical work done for half the cost they could back home, and get much better accommodations and service for their money.

Also a trip to Brazil!

Even though from what I hear Americans are the biggest medical tourists, there’s lots of people from South America going to brazil to get work done as well.

Which doesn’t surprise me too much. People with the means will always pick luxury given the option. While medical outcomes may be good in South America, it’s probably nowhere as luxurious as some of these new Hospitals being built in Brazil.

Time to get in shape – 60% of latinos are overweight

Little overweight? Out of shape? Don’t feel good?

Completely normal. Most Americans, myself included are suffering from at least one of the three above, or had at point.

I’m chubby, and that’s being generous. A few more pounds I would probably be obese! I don’t feel that big when I walk around the streets; that’s only because everyone else is big..latino obesity

I recently went to a conference to Singapore. Walking around the streets it dawned on me. I’m not just overweight, I’m really overweight. Compared to the local Singaporean people I was a giant, a tubby giant at that. Being in America and a particularly overweight part of America I’ve gotten accustomed to seeing big people. A little too much it seems. Astonishingly over 60% of Latinos are overweight. Diabetes and related issues are killing and hurting thousands of Latinos, and isn’t something people are talking about. They should be!

It took traveling to another country (skinny country) for me to realize that I’m part of the problem, but I also want to be part of the solution.

I googled tons of weight loss and nutrition websites and found a lot of great ones. I started working out and in 5 weeks so far have lost 7 pounds. Not a lot, but progress is progress.

Here’s my daily routine

  • Wake up eat bowl of oats + banana
  • Take my pre work out drink – Check it out at B Nox Review
  • Hit the gym for 1 hour
  • Take creatine + protein powder after gym
  • Work
  • Lunch – Chicken breast + veggies
  • Work
  • Go home and do some stretches
  • Eat dinner – Large portion of non fried meat ( Turkey/ pork/ beef) + veggies
  • Relax
  • Some fruits or vegetables

The routine above has worked well for me. I tried going to the gym after work but always had excuses to miss it. Now I go in the morning and haven’t missed a training in 3 weeks. Getting started is the hardest part, but once you start it becomes easier. Just started doing something.

car insurance new jersey

Car insurance in NJ is too expensive!

I hate car insurance for two big reasons:

  1. Ridiculously expensive in New Jersey
  2. Mandatory by law

I rather drive without insurance, but by law but unfortunately not a single state allows that. I’m extra unlucky because I now live in New Jersey. Which is probably one of the worst states for car insurance. We pay a lot for car insurance, too much.

Right now I’m paying about $260 for car insurance ( Brand New Jeep). In Nevada I probably would have paid like $120.

I complained to my friend about this and he recommended I check out http://www.autoinsurancemonkey.com and compare insurance quotes, so I did. I got 11 quotes instantly, and found a company that would give me the same coverage for about $210. So I was able to $50 in under 30 minutes. Great investment of my time.

So if you’re looking for cheap car insurance in NJ I recommend autoinsurancemonkey.com

On another note, if you have some credit troubles I ran into another awesome site: carloansfox.ca. It’s a Canadian company, but works with Americans. They specialize in helping people get bad credit car loans. My friend just used them and had a great experience, so I’m giving them a free shoutout!

Random Rant, I Hurt my Back..

I was hiking recently, in the early morning and unfortunately strained my back. Fortunately for me, I was near my car when this happened. I drove home (In extreme pain I might add) and did some googling for a chiropractor.

After about 1 hour of this, I found a pretty good chiropractor that was open and could take me in ASAP. I had my appointment, and all I’ll say was that this guy really new his stuff. I feel a lot better after my appointment, but I’m still in some pain.

The doctor recommend I rest for 2 days, which shouldn’t be a problem since I haven’t taken any sick days for years. Staying at home is going to be pretty boring for me though, I’m an outdoor cat not an indoor cat. But I guess this is a good time to me to catch up with some tv shows. I haven’t watched Game of thrones for a while, but fortunately for me no one has spoiled it yet!

Also while I was getting my back fixed, I talked to the doctor about his website. Since I work in marketing I was interested in who had created his site (Dallas is not as big as it seems!). He told me about a company I’ve never heard of, called http://www.savedbysearch.com/. Apparently they specialize in Chiropractic SEO & marketing for chiropractors.

Seeing the company made me realize two things:

  1. Marketing is niching down a lot
  2. People are willing to hire you, even if they never met you (This company is in Canada)

And that I really need to start freelancing some more. Now I’m off to watch some Game of Thrones.

Latino Vote Nevada

If you’ve been following the democratic primary election (You better have!) you know that Hillary Clinton won. While this makes me very sad ( I’m a huge Bernie supporter), I’m happy to know that the latino vote was not the reason she won.

Here’s a great article on the results: http://edition.cnn.com/2016/02/22/politics/polls-nevada-caucuses-democrats-latinos/
